Recently Facebook has added a new convenient way of login into Facebook Account and that is with Facebook Login Mobile Number. This feature allows a Facebook User to do Facebook Login with mobile number. Previously, Facebookers were only able to log into their Facebook with their email addresses. Later, Facebook provided an alternative to the email address i.e. username. Now, the second alternative happens to be the Facebook Login using Mobile Phone Number.
To login Facebook using mobile number you need to type in your mobile number (the number which you’ve validated with your Facebook Account) in the Email or Phone field (previously it said only “Email”). The password would be same, so you should enter the password in the following field and then hit Enter or click Login. While entering mobile number in the “Email or Phone” field, enter it with your country code but without any zero(0)s or symbol(+) in the beginning.
If you number is 123456 and your country code is 01.
Then you should enter 1123456 as your Facebook Mobile Number Login.
To login Facebook with mobile number you must have your Mobile number activated for mobile login Facebook. If you haven’t linked your mobile number with your Facebook Account, you’ll need to follow the steps below.
- Login to your Facebook account using either your email or your Facebook username.
- Go to account settings by clicking on the drop down arrow at the top right corner of Facebook Screen.
- Select Mobile from the tabs in the left hand side of Account Settings.
- Click Add Mobile Phone Number.
- Enter your Mobile phone Number in the window that pops up and click send confirmation code.
- Facebook will send a text message to your number in which you’ll find a confirmation code.
- Enter that code in the Box which says “Confirmation Code” and click confirm.
You’re all set with setting up your Mobile phone number settings and now you must be able to do Facebook Login via Mobile Number.
Everyone once in a while Facebook Users, those who have already activated the Mobile Login Service and mostly who have also begun using Facebook Login by Mobile Number, face problems while logging into their Facebook Accounts. If you face trouble accessing your Facebook Account by using your mobile number then what you should do is clear the caches and cookies of the internet browser you are using and then restart the browser and try again with your login credentials. The same solution goes to the mobile users too. This should solve the problem for both desktop and mobile users and you should be able to make Facebook login using mobile number again.
