Facebook Logins Compromised Each Day

Facebook Logins Compromised Each Day. Facebook recently announced that just 0.06% of its 1 billion daily user logins were made by hijacked accounts on an info graphic boasting about itself during National Cyber security Awarness Month.

For more than a billion Facebook inscriptions occur on a daily basis, which is actually a small part of about 600,000 facebook violations per 24 hours.

Based on this graph, Facebook claims to have 750 million active users, half of the users login every day. The last time I checked the Facebook page press, that number increased to over 800 million users. Facebook must have created this new graphics in July 2011 when the site reached a milestone 750 million users.

Facebook spokesperson clarify that : “Compromise in this sense refers to the connection where we’re not entirely sure that the real owner of the account has access to the account, and we either preventive or retroactive block access. We will prevent and help ensure that people secure their account even if they do not really compromise on Facebook.
