Facebook allows a logged in Facebook user to search on Facebook and helps find things on facebook that can be accessed by typing anything you want to search in the Search Bar at the Left of the Facebook Screen. After you hit Search you will get a number of search results along with further options to filter your search terms in a vertical bar on the left side. It will be something like this:
There are lots of options to filter the search terms so that we could find what we’re actually searching for. To search anything on Facebook you will need to follow the instructions below:
- Login with your Facebook Account.
- If you don’t have one, sign up for a Facebook account by going on www.Facebook.com.
(It’s not an compulsion to use Facebook Search by logging in but for best results, logging in and searching would be the best idea.)
Facebook Search without Login
- You can manually go to www.facebook.com/srch.php. You will then be redirected to the screen similar to this:
This search feature allows you to search for people only and not anything else. You might not get the expected results even on the people too as Facebook would not be able to show the search results associated to you. Facebook Friend Search would be most effective in this case.
