Disable Facebook Timeline

Your new Facebook timeline wall is totally different form what you used to see within your previous Facebook homepage or the wall. Facebook wall is the platform or your basic login homepage where you could post your updates/status and share it among your friends. But, along with the introduction of the Facebook timeline the appereance now has changed drastically, with more bolder and cleaner look.

But, as you might have noticed not only the appearances has changed, along with the viewing aspects there are some security systems that might has been changed as-well. As, you might know that Facebook allows even your friends to post and comment on your Facebook timeline wall. Mostly your close friends might use the Timeline wall to wish birthdays, anniversaries or any other special occasions. But at times there are some friends who posts unwanted or irritating statuses on your Facebook timeline wall and would prove to be of total misuse for some of the Facebook login users. The best way to get rid of those kind of friends would be to delete or remove friends from your Facebook account, but if you would only like to disable them from your wall you will then need to disable your Facebook timeline.

As, you might know the new Facebook timeline has a different appearance than before the process of disabling your timeline wall isa a little different from the earlier one. In order to disable your timeline wall , you will need to go through your Privacy Settings. Within your privacy settings, the most fore-most thing you would need to do is edit Timeline and Tagging section.

A new dialogue box will appear within the Timeline and Tagging section. On the top right corner of your Facebook Timeline security settings, a small selection box appears about “Who can post on your Timeline” select to “No One“.


Selecting this option will thereafter allow no one else but you to post on your Facebook Timeline Wall.

Disable Auto-Tagging

Every Facebook login users have close friends who uploads photos often and would like to share their experiences by tagging Facebook photos to one another. It’s okay if some of your close friends tag in relative photos, but there are some friends or users who would tag almost every and inappropriate pictures time to time. Although, you can later remove the tag, but the best thing to do would be review the photo before tag. However, in your new Facebook timeline you can now review the photo before it gets appeared on your timeline wall.

But, that would be the manual way to kill the tagging process. So, here are few easy steps on how you could disable auto-tagging. After the procedure no one will be able to tag you in a photo/video without your permission.

 

  • Check your Privacy Settings.
  • Click over “Edit Settings” of ”Timeline and Tagging”
  • A new dialogue box will appear with “Timeline and Tagging”
  • Go Through “Review posts friends tag you in before they appear on your timeline”

Initially the auto tagging system is disabled i.e turned “off“. You will need to enable the feature.

Note: This actually is the procedure to disable Facebook timeline and to disable auto tagging. However, if you want to enable both features at once, the procedure would be the same, you will just nedd to edit settings.

Facebook Denmark

Facebook Denmark has made quite a record up till now. The number of Facebook login users is the 6th highest after UK, France, Italy, Spain and Belgium. According to the recent data, 21.1 Hundreds of thousands of Facebook login users are from Denmark.   • In the drop down box named “Choose Primary”, there will be a list of languages to choose from. Choose the language you want (in this case: Danish).
  • Click Save Changes and you’re good to go.
